It depends on the game, with a title like halo(average game, high sales) huge sales means the multiplayer has a better chance of being great, with varied opponents and tons of comp
But with a game like MGS4(good from what I hear, high sales) big sales don’t mean as much b/c you still only play with yourself
On the flip side games like condemned 2 (great game, ok sales) are a blast online but have very limited fun factor b/c not as many people play that game there
Then of course if you don’t like the game no matter how many units it sells you still wont play it
