no its more like SSX game .. both have the same gameplay style.

yah for me also SSX Tricky is the best .

 

The difference is the emphasis on the tricks, you get points for making your tricks, and it becomes a big part of the level. In Pure you either save up to make more badass tricks or you use your boost continuesly.

And while it was quite awesome to score 4m+ on the Tokyo level in SSX Tricky, it is miles apart from the sensation you get for completing a level in Pure. From the demo at least.
