Positive thinking: ........... ... .. . Nintendo will announce a new "announcement strategy", one in which games are announced a little bit more than 1 month before release, hopefully about 1 year - 6 months prior to launch. Nintendo will announce some new core games due to this new strategy.

Negative thinking: Nintendo will announce they don't have plan for FF4 in the west or that it will come in Q4 next year. MH3 is now an HD game and FFCC:CB too. Wii Music 2 is in production and that they have cancelled Zelda to make it.
Nintendo has fired every single developer and only 1 team will remain, being this time the team making Wii Music 2 and Wii Sports: Resort. Pikmin, Star Fox, Donkey Kong, Metroid, Zelda, Mario, Punch Out, Kid Icarus are all dead franchises.

 

How optimistic :) The same exact thing happened last year. They showed Wii Fit at E3, everybody cried and moaned, and they had their core game conference in October. The same exact thing will happen. This isn't a "wait and see" thing, core games will appear. I hope they announce another big third party game like MH3, btw :3
