Yes, I have an aweomse wife 
but she is in no way a nerd sadly. About the only game she'll play is Wii Fit. The last game I got her to actually play was Portal and she got about to level 13 or so and threw the controller across the room.
She let me get those cakes because she just happens to like anything not conventional (we got married in the Dallas Museum of Art) and even though she isn't a gamer she can appreciate how awesome the cake is. :-p
The cakes are fully edible except for the Mario and Peach. Those are some Japanese figures that were hard as hell to find but totally worth it.
The cake was made by a place called Frosted Art and they are awesome. The lady that owns and runs it has been on a few Food Network Challenges and she has won at least once and I'm pretty sure more than once. She's incredible and highly recommend her if anyone is getting married in the Dallas area.
It was awesome, the cake was actually 4 different flavors (one for each layer) and then another flavor for the groom's cake.
