just like everyone had suggested, contact nintendo.
nintendo is awesome at addressing problems...
you may found out that it may not even be your fault..
your lens may just be dirty.. and needs cleaning..
i heard sometime ago that nintendo was fixing that sort of problem sometime around the launch of SSBB
that could just be it..
