After all, your judgement is nothing more but an assumption and I am sure if StarCraft wanted to, he would have been heavily in favor of all 360 related posts on this thread, which he hasn't. In fact, he has complimented ps3 games and even pointed out that his bird likes certain ps3 games as well as certain 360 games making it an even thread.

P.S The best thing would be for her to work around the budget and do what Ross did in friends when he was confused which girl to be with.

He listed the pro's and con's of each one.

She should make a Pro's and Con list for both. Something like this:

PS3    Pro's Cons 

1) Cheaper overall as an entertainment centre 1) Expensive as a one time purchase

2) Free PSN and  2) Not as good as XBL

3) Free Home 3) She may not have a use for it

4) Better variety of Exclusives 4) Smaller Library of games

5) Cheaper HDD and option to have any SATA HDD 5) Large installs

6) Integrated BR player 6) May not require it

7) No last gen disc swapping 7) BR movies still expensive

8) Sixaxis motion control 8) No full use of it yet

9) Creative funky games like Flower, LBP & Africa 9) Questionable if it is everyone's cup of tea

 

I'm sure she can make a more thorough list. At the end of it, it all boils down to what's on offer in the next 6 months and what is available now as well as price and her budget.

Sony has some really cool new IP's with a difference being released; LBP, Flower, Afrika, Eyepet and several good casual games such as; Singstar, Buzz and Eyepet as well as long awaited sequels.

The 360 has a some good games being released soon such as; Fable 2, left 4 Dead and GeoW and already has a great library of games such as; GeoW 1, Ninja Gaiden 2, Crackdown and Deod or Alive.
