His statement is being loaded. He is simply saying that Optical Disc formats have level out, and that the next format wont be Opitical format, ie Blu-Ray is the last Disc based medium.

you and the person that wrote this article then took it and twisted into him saying that Blu-Ray is doooooooomed.
