Halo, it proved you could make a console FPS that's on par with the PC. God of war was excellent for the first 5 hours but then it just dragged on, the hours dealing with Pandora's box and then the horrible Hades level left a bad taste in my mouth. I only played Metroid Prime for a couple of hours and all I remember is getting constantly lost and bored, but then I really didn't see the point in making a 3D metriod in the first place.
