An overclocked card could range from 60 to 100 with 60 and up to 80 being perfectly safe (at least for new ones) and 100 meaning that either;

A: You have to clock back to stock frequency, or;
B: You need better cooling

Neither should be an issue with newer cards though, I haven't seen a truly heated gpu since the 8800 Ultra.
