I didn't know character designers/directors can own characters >_> It's not 50/50. It's 100/0 when it comes to KH characters since Disney owns them all. Like I said, Disney made a KH game without SE so there you go.

KINGDOM HEARTS = FINAL FANTASY + DISNEY = square + disney.

 

 

I know it's a joint venture :P That's not what we're talking about though. forever tried to say the KH characters/worlds/whatever don't belong to Disney when they do. The game is a joint venture between SE (FF) + Disney (the Disney characters + the KH characters which Disney own which makes them Disney characters).

The Copyright covers all Disney owned stuff, such as worlds, characters, etc. Disney also Copyrighted Tim Burton's TNBC under there name. Square does the same thing with all their properties. SE does not have to state ownership over the game seeing as THEY MADE IT. The first game had a similar copyright set up except it included the joint venture for Tarzan with Disney."
