Could you go through your data and get the median figure?  It seems to me like the mean sales statistics of HD games are generally heavily skewed by the presence of a few extremely heavy hitters (e.g. Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, GTA IV).

Only games released in Q1 were counted. I don't have a median sorry as I just did it in Word. (Silly me)

25 games were released selling 20.25 Million in total.

I removed the top 5 selling games and the bottom 5 selling games. So 20.25 Million sold - 11 Million for the top/bottom 5 = 9.25 Million between the middle 15 games. This yielded an average of 617k for the median games released. None of these games were hugely expensive blockbusters either they were typical middle of the pack releases in terms of budget.
