| talkingparrot said: So the Xbox 360 outsold the PS3 by 10k in August. Crow is being served on a steaming bun, however, people should look at a couple of facts-
The reality is, A) the Xbox 360 is 100+ dollars cheaper than the PS3, B) had TWO exclusives in August (ToV, and Too Human), and C) had a liquidation of the 20 gigabyte unit. This should reflect very easily in the sales numbers. It only outsold the PS3 by 10 k units. So for Xbox 360 fans to suddenly cry out "PS3 is dead,"- imagine what one price drop with a bundled game would do for the Playstation 3? Not only that, Gamestop across the nation have said there has been a shortage in supply, and the new Cell 65nm has been a bottleneck in production. World Wide the PS3 is still outselling the 360.
So is the PS3 dying? No. Is it too late for the PS3 in NA? No. Is bluray dead? No. Are people on VG Chartz blowing 10k out of proportion? Yes.

Er, maybe Im wrong, but arent you the guy that posted that you thought the PS3 was maybe dying because of it being outsold?
I own all three current consoles and a great gaming rig, now thats out of the way.

"Why post something like this when all it will get is PS3 owners blinded to reality replying? BOTH THE PS3 AND BLUE-RAY WILL NOT LAST 3 YEARS! TECHNOLOGY CHANGED TOO FAST!"
"is it Wii FIt that has sold as many as PS3's sold? Thats a LOL Look at the total sales of software is it just me that sees Nintendo titles hitting 10m+ and you say they arent making a difference? Another LOL!"
"Hell, with all the negative hype Sony spin, people just aren't interested cost is too high and to get the true HD experience (1080p, 7.1 surround) you will need a $1000+ system. THAT IS GOING TO DO IT IN A RECESSION! PS4 will not happen"
