I can't wait to sink my teeth into this. I love games that are so micromanagement intensive that you spend just as much time in menus setting up your characters as you do fighting. Anybody remember Ogre Battle 64? That kicked ass, somebody needs to make a new one of those. But till then I will be putting alot into this. It will definately hold me over until LBP and the onslaught of holiday titles. |
glad to see you enjoying the SONY Playstation 3 Computer Entertainment System...

lol?
Disgaea 3 looks like the best PS3 game out (in NA, otherwise I would've said Valkyria) right now. I think I should (really) get into the Disgaea series. The DS is gettng a remake of the first one...should I invest in it?

Would you happen to own a PSP? If not, then possibly a PS2?
Only reason I ask this is because from what I heard plenty of the VA has been removed for the NDS remake of the game and the VA is the best part.

Despite these complications, Disgaea DS feels like a respectable enough port. NIS has managed to retain all of the voice acting despite the move to away from discs, and the story plays out as usual. In addition, new characters have been made playable (such as Dark Assembly receptionist Plenair). Whether or not these minor tweaks will help draw in Disgaea neophytes remains to be seen, but it's hard to see much of a drawback in having one of last generation's best strategy-RPGs available to a new audience.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
