^^ I loved that system too, but i don't mind the health recharging one either in games like Halo. I think it has to do with newer players that started playing FPS games with Halo etc. They can't stand the old school health packs from what I've noticed.
Older players that played Doom, Quake and other classic FPS games don't usually mind either systems...
