@yushire: Not everyone puts skill as their main interest in playing games.  In fact, The Sims should have already proven that most people do not care about any of that.  They just want to have fun, not become an expert at some video game they play as a hobby.  Also, funny you mention Counter-Strike - I could no longer play the game since they kept releasing patches that limited the skill "ceiling," similar to what happened to Smash Bros (Brawl was crippled for tournament play compared to Melee).  The reason you may not know this, is because the people that care that much about it are in the minority.

Wii Music is not a rhythm game like the ones you compare it to - instead, it allows you the freedom to create your own music.  If I gave you a musical instrument, you may ask, "What's the point?"  Well, it should be obvious - to create music, of course!  Wii Music gives you the freedom to control a number of things to allow for creativity (tempo, volume, instruments), which may or may not be enough for the average consumer.  Remember, Wii Sports hardly gives you any freedom at all in each of its sports, but that didn't stop it from becoming the most popular game this gen.

LOL do you mean Counter Strike Source? :P I didnt play Source my PC cant let me play it in 60 fps. Im playing Counter Strike 1.6 instead...
