Take Sarah Palin, for example. By trying to tear her down so viciously, they've actually built up more support around her before she even did one interview. In situations like that, you risk letting Sarah shoot herself in the foot. You don't turn her into a sympathetic figure for mothers, wives, and moderates around the country.

You have to also remember that all the Hilary supports are still po'ed over Obama winning. From what I have seen from reports on the internet most are going to vote for McCain now. I think the Hilary supports are going to hurt the Obama campaign worse then the hell-bent democrats.
