I'm having a hard time calling this a "bounce" anymore. It's over a week later and McCain isn't going to lose all that ground back to Obama without hard work on Barack's part.

I think this is more of a trend than a bounce (though McCain is definitely riding a high right now that will surely peak at some point).

In any case, the next two months will be interesting.

 

You might be right....but we'll have to wait a bit for that to be true.

This is the "bounce" since results are still coming in from the convention/Palin.  By next week you won't be able to consider it a bounce.  If all polling firms polled the entire country state-by-state in the days after the convention/Palin announcement then you would be right.
