Console percentages after xmas?

Last year, between September 1st 2007 and January 5th 2008 we saw the following sales:

PS3: 4.56m

360: 4.89m

Wii:  8.32m

Almost 18 million total.  So why do you think that this year, with lower PS3 and 360 prices and much faster sales overall that we'll sell fewer?
