Also, is sharing a game with someone illegal? (as in a console game as well)

When you let a friend borrow your Gears of War 360 game...you don't still have a Gears of Wars disc at home to play...unless you pirated it of course.

So why should people be allowed to install a game on multiple computers and be able to play them at the same time?

Sharing a game shouldn't be prohibited, but playing at the same time should, and I do think there should be protection against that.

But this 3 time install business isn't the right way to do it...I also agree I'd like to play any game I own in 10 years.

The reality of it though, is that in 10 years I won't be playing it, but if I do want to, and I've maxed out my installs, I'll just download a crack.  Nobody cares about cracking a 10 year old game you paid for.  It's not something I should have to do, but I'm not going to get all twisted up about it.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )
