It's not that they doubt it is going to boost sales. It's that PS3 fans fear it is going to boost sales and seem to be willing the price cut to fail. They fail to recognise that healthy competition is what ensures prices are kept down and forces manufacturers to add and improve features to make their product more attractive. If this price cut does markedly improve 360 sales, there is greater chance the PS3 will be reduced in price. Maybe we could all afford to go multi platform then.
