I was arguing with someone in another thread about developers not taking Wii seriously due to not making big franchises on the console or making the big franchise and gimping it heavily. Wii has been out long enough to get games that have:
1) Online play. (Even Pro Evolution has it and how long ago was the last footie made by Konami for a Nintendo console? Like Winning Eleven 6 or something?)
2) Depth in manager mode.
3) Create a player.
4) Full list of options.
5) Solid frame rate (even with no online? How is this possible these days? It could be a Gamecube port and do better with the frame rate. WTF?).
Developers are destined to not try very hard. Not sure why, but come on 2k games, everyone knows you are capable of so much more than this. It is sad to see things go this way. I think this game makes my point even more valid today than it was when me and thee other poster were arguing about it.
