Alright, this one's a bit esoteric, but if you're ever going to watch X-files on DVD, skip the very beginning of each episode. The part where you see the crazy stuff happen before the theme song.
Because more often than not these parts are pretty lame and sometimes completely ruin the mystery of that episode. The show is always best when you see what Mulder and Scully sees, You're usually better off if you skip the parts they're not in.
