What your average gamer doesn't know is Fable or even to some extent Gears of War (Yes Gears was popular, but it was popular to existing XBOX 360 owners) A price drop will help, but probvably not as much as 360 fanboys want to believe.

I would also add that MS has maybe a secret weapon :

1- remote controller

2- arcade with 20go hard-drive

The 1- will better compete versus the wii (even if it will be very hard for them)

The 2- will make people buy arcade over premium and will then provide a very good boost
(since people will see : 20go arcade 200$ vs PS3 400$).
