I fail to see how he had an advantage. He passes the Bus Stop before Kimi, so he lets Kimi pass. To do that, he has to reduce his speed, so Kimi is going faster than him (that's why they showed he crossed the finish line 6 km/h slower than Kimi) and passes him. Lewis then puts himself fully behind Kimi, Kimi takes La Source very wide, and and Lewis passes him from the inside (and then Kimi hits him, but nobody says it). Because he was right behind him after that corner. He mucked it up, and did not suffer because of it

 

 

So he had an 'advantage' because he wasn't disadvantaged?

If he had not cut that corner, he would have been a significant distance behind Raikonen, because he made a mistake. However, cutting that corner allowed to him to immediately get another crack at the nut
