I think you're getting ahead of yourself here. Besides how many times has it been said on this site that Amazon is not a good way to judge a trend.

How many times do I have to say I don't care. IMO it's interesting, much more interesting than small local store data.

The other day I went to Bestbuy and then Target (needed dinner) and both places were sold out of the Arcade and Premium models since the price drop. I did however see 4-6 PS3s there. For me to make a thread about what I saw would be met with the same comment about how the "evidence" doesnt mean that there is a trend.

Stock levels say very little, my local Media Markt store is currently overloaded by PS3s (40GB MGS4 bundles, 80 GB models and 40GB standalone PS3s), a short while ago they had very few. They now have very little 360 stock (no new stock deliveries in quite a while) and still lots of leftover Wiis from a few months ago, but the 360 is clearly the slowest selling console at the store.

What I was saying, the price cut does not seem to have had a major effect. Amazon bestseller rankings are rather similar as before the price cut.

Naughty Dog: "At Naughty Dog, we're pretty sure we should be able to see leaps between games on the PS3 that are even bigger than they were on the PS2."
