@z64dan - Actually, that's not what I'm getting at. Remember, I'm talking about 5 years down the road. Just like you said, Nintendo is planning more innovation, but that innovation can already be implemented with the Wii. They could practically innovate for the next 15 years and never change the Wii console itself.
There really isn't anything limiting them currently, so when I say that the next console will have updated Graphics and Processing power, it's only because that is the only thing that is console dependent and therefor the only reason that Nintendo would have any NEED to release a new console at all. Eventually they are going to want to update the power, speed, and graphics, and hence that will be the major focus of the new console, while they simply build on the numerous controller innovations they come up with over the next 5 years.
