Your forgetting Animal Crossing sales. Every Animal Crossing game without fail has broken the million mark and the DS version topped the global charts for months if I remember correctly. True their is a few months between each big release when Nintendo's titles will fall off the global charts!
That being said I don't thin Nintendo will control the top five untill next fall. Why? Because Nintendo has been banking first party titles for the inevitable rainy day (When Wii's actually remain in stock). Thats when Nintendo is going to unleash hell and flood the market with innovative and hardcore games galor. So far in Nintendo's bank vault we have (Donkey Kong , Zelda , Pikmin3) all three games should either be complete or near completion. According to Nintendo's President at TGS 2005 a new Zelda and Donkey Kong game were in the works. It has been 3yrs since then and you know that those games must be near completion. Then Miyamoto let Pikmin3 slip but he said he only announces games nearly completed. Lastly during the GameCube era Nintendo released a minimum of 12 big games each year. Since the GameCube era Nintendo's numbers have dropped while their studios expanded and Nintendo aquired new studios and properties.
So what am I saying. When Nintendo pulls the trigger and unviels those banked games and releases them one a month like they did on the GameCube. Were talking all five top spots in the bank for sure. Also Wii's will be back out of stock! Simple math!
