That's exactly my "Wii is the new C=64" argument.
What is wild is that it hasn't had to lower it's pricepoint at all yet, and will very likely go 2+ years at the original pricepoint and sold out to boot!
(I was orignally going to wait till Spring '07 befoe buying a Wii, as Nintendo usually price drop mid the following year post -launch; then I saw the E3 2006 line-ups...)
