I agree there should not have been an option for 17 million on the PS3 one, and anyone voting under 20 million would be incredibly pessimistic.
For X360 I think the options were just right, except there should not have been so many voting for the low options (I doubt it will finish under 25 million)
For Wii I feel again the lowest option should have been taken out in favour of a higher option.... I am positive the Wii will not sell more than 47 million, but there should be a higher option because there is no way Wii will end lower than 38 million.

This commentary is great...and spot on....but might I throw something else into the fray:
When you put an option so obviosuly wrong into a poll...it casts true light on the fanboy reaction to the poll. It helps to distance the real votes from those of the wishfull thinkers and trolls.

True.
The voters for the Wii poll have been a lot more sensible than the other two... at least so far. Still voting a little on the low side overall but at least the majority votes are not on the lowest option like with X360.
And it certainly isn't as funny as the long running poll for best selling game of 2008.
