25 Posts Instead Of 50?

[i'm sure you know] you can scroll near instantly to the bottom using the scroll bar on the right

that said, i don't mind too much about how many posts are on a page, but perhaps there could be an option for users to choose how many posts are on each page? (or is that impossible to do?)
