I'm hoping we'll find out at TGS what Nintendo's various in-house dev teams are up to. At the moment, all we know is that a couple branches of EAD are working on Wii Sports Resort and Animal Crossing, and that Game Freak is (hopefully) giving us Pokemon Platinum before the end of the year. Either way, we know next to nothing as to what Nintendo's up to - and that means a ton of new first-party games in 2009...

"'Casual games' are something the 'Game Industry' invented to explain away the Wii success instead of actually listening or looking at what Nintendo did. There is no 'casual strategy' from Nintendo. 'Accessible strategy', yes, but ‘casual gamers’ is just the 'Game Industry''s polite way of saying what they feel: 'retarded gamers'."
