If you are on a budget and just want to play games you can pay the $199 for the arcade... Get one of those rent games by the mail services for 12 months and it is still cheaper then the PS3. Nothing wrong with playing a new 360 game every week or so for a year.
The arcade is fine for some people that's for sure. The haters are just people that are trying to find things to complain about.
