You hated Days of Ruin just because the atmosphere was darker than previous games in the series? That's just as stupid as people saying FFXII sucks just because it is very different from previous games in the series.
I haven't played many Intellegent Systems games but I had a great time with the ones I did play(i.e. FE7, PM:TTYD)
