I am a big RPG fan myself and played FFF: CD for over 50 hours.
I am not a graphic whore so the PS2 level of them didn't bother me.
The soundtrack is great and absolutely fantastic if you liked the music of the main FF franchise(a lot of remixes).
The voice acting sounded very mediocre for me at the beginning. But after a little i found out for myself that it's a good thing not to hear the same(professional)voices from the big RPG franchises for the 100th time.
Not much to say to the gameplay: a dungeon crawler plus a 'soft' story(which isn't a bad thing for me).
I buyed this game only because of the cuteness of Chocobo which i think is the reason i wasn't disappointed.Because if you are awaiting the full RPG dose you are common with when you are playing FF or 'Tales of' you should first rent this one.
My personal rating is 9.2/10
Yes,i know it's very high for what i wrote. But i really liked it.The charming atmosphere(soundtrack, cute Chocobos & Dungeon Hero X,the weirdest Moogle in history)is the main point for my rating.
Any questions?
