I think it makes a decent complementary peripheral to a more full workout program.

At the beginning of the summer, I started getting out and running, walking, and playing basketball and soccer (sorry to the rest of the world, but here it's soccer to avoid confusion). I also put in about 20-25 minutes a day on various exercises on Wii Fit. (Primarily the jackknife challenge, and a handful of the other exercises like the lunges and the plank-type exercises.) It wouldn't have been much on its own, but it helped me focus on some muscle groups that my aerobic exercise wouldn't have on its own.

It's not the be-all, end-all program some people may have claimed it would be when it launched, but it's got enough in there to keep a sweat going if you're already coming down off a workout. Plus, the scale is pretty damn accurate, and tracking provides great motivation, which was the main reason I wanted it. Just my $.02 on the matter.

The dedication you show to any particular console or company is inversely proportional to the number of times you have gotten laid. If you get laid enough, even if you prefer a certain brand, you just don't give enough of a shit to argue about it on the internet.
