yeah except that the market configuration changed since PS2..... now XB came out first and sega is not here... and nintendo is shifting their market on an other segment... what you are comparing is like comparing apple market share before launching Imac.... so yes it will matter a lot the result of this end of the year especially for the DEV studios...
