Wow, thanks for all the replies... I'm not really an FPS fan but for some reason, Halo was great to me. I prefer the more linear style that is shorter than the open-world concept. Games like grand theft don't do anything for me nor do games like unreal. On my 'cube, I really enjoy Mario Kart and that certainly is a title I'm looking forward to. Resident Evil 4 was awesome! Again, a linear game without a lot of wandering.
I don't do fighters so SSBB isn't something I'm interested in. SMG might be but will depend on how "fresh" the gameplay is. I burned myself up on Super Mario 64 so much so that the whole idea of another 3D mario title doesn't appeal to me.
Also, I don't do online and that's not an issue.
As far as the "graphics" comment, The cube was great, but I really would have preferred that Nintendo put just a little more "gusto" in the cpu/gpu. I didn't expect 360 or PS3 levels of hardware, but more than they did. I fully agree with gameplay over graphics. I always have and always will. I do, however, really like nice graphics as well.
So to further my question, tell me how MP1 and MP2 played on the cube. Are they adventure? Puzzle? RPG? Compare to other games that are similar... I may just have to go get MP1 and/or 2 at Gamestop used since my 360 is out for repair.
