I'm just confused ...

The $20 price drop on the core seems to make the core less attractive as an item because after you buy the memory card the price difference between the premium and the core is an amazingly large $20, you don't have HD output (RCA output), and you lack 19.5 GB of datastorage.

Essentially, they have given Nintendo another year uncontested at the 'affordable' price range which will allow the Wii to pass the XBox 360 in North America. I wonder if after the Wii has outsold the PS3 and XBox 360 combined in every region Sony and Microsoft will realize that you have to Market your product as a high end product and price it at a level where people with a below average income can afford it if you want to be truely successful.
