@Game_boy - EDIT: (Thank you, stof, you said what I was going to)

 

I think Nintendo has the advantage in controller too. Jsut because they release a new console doesn't even mean they need to release a new controller. The only thing I would change is adding a mic and rumble to the Nunchuck, adding a better speaker to the Wiimote, and improving the battery life by at least double on top of this. Other than that, the layout could stay the same, which means people could keep their old controllers and have no issues adjusting to the new one.

In a way, they could do the same thing Playstation did with the PS2 controller.

My Prediction: Wii will be achieve 48% market share by the end of 2008, and will achieve 50% by the end of june of 09. Prediction Failed.
