The new 80GB PS3 uses less energy than the 40GB. Something about the machine has changed, we just don't know what it is yet.

 

 

Yes I think it comes with the 65nm cell and 65nm RSX. I can't believe no one has cracked it open yet though!? Maybe I'll go buy one with cash, crack it open, close it, and return it to Walmart .

 

I think so aswell. Unless there is something else they could have changed in there to cause the change.
