I would add that there are quite a few "family friendly" or "casual" games on Xbox Live Arcade. For 10 bucks there are a bunch of games that are quick to pick up and play and are great fun. I think Microsoft has done a terrible job marketing this aspect of the console as it really is one of the cooler aspects. The only thing I DON"T like about it is that they rarely release more than 1 game per week. I'd like to see it stepped up to more like 2-3 per week like Nintendo is doing. (though not so much old crap!)

I would also like to add that I LOVE the wireless controllers. They are by far the best controller I've ever used on any console -- period. They hit it out of the park with the 360 wireless controller...
The included cable with the little switch on the back for component/hidef or standard def is def. a cool gadget since I didn't have to buy a cable and when I finall get an HD set, I'm still good to go.
