They needed to do something this holiday to get buyers attention and ensure the gap doesnt close quickly, and this price cut is the answer. |
I don't know how anyone can see the second price cut in almost three years as desperation. How many price cuts did the PS2 have in its first three years? Unless Sony price cuts aswell I really think M$ will beat Sony almost every week the rest of the year starting next week especially if Europe gets a price cut like the US and Japan. Lots of people looking for a new game system for Christmas this year will be interested in a $200 Xbox 360.
