This is like the 5th price cut thread I have commented on today (not beating ya up JaggedSac, a good read)...but here goes...again.
We will all have to wait and see the numbers and financial reports come Jan 2009. I think this cut will keep the 360 even, if not slightly ahead of PS3 this holiday season.
Do I think its desperation, NO. But MS is a smart company, Nintendo is doing awesome, and the PS3 is really picking up steam. They needed to do something this holiday to get buyers attention and ensure the gap doesnt close quickly, and this price cut is the answer.
