They are in a dilemma whether to make it a 'proper' Mario game or water it down and make it a kiddie fest like NSMB.
Ummm.... kiddie fest? What ARE you talking about? now anything that resembles the original Mario game is a "kiddie" game?
It was my hands-down GOTY last year, and I can't even imagine how many hours I have put into it. The game seems to appeal to kids just as well as adults - I can name about 10 people OVER 30yrs who have bought a DS to play this.
You have lost any resemblance to credibility in my eyes - I would like to know what YOU consider a "PROPER" Mario game includes. I love NSMB, and would love a Wii title in a similar style and gameplay style. Its already sold 4mill+ copies in Japan, and is getting close to 10mill worldwide.
Im expecting new forms of gameplay from Mario Galaxy - and I think Nintendo will easily deliver based on the videos I have seen to date. I liked (but never loved) Sunshine, and think they are correcting many of their mistakes with this one.
