Not only is the Xbox 360 cheap in every way, but it's also inexpensive -- you can buy it for just $199 each time it dies. That, plus the cost of live assures that you probably won't spend more than $1000 on hardware + online access over the life of the console!
But, hey, it's inexpensive.
