Really, the only thing Sony does that Nintendon't is make poor investment decisions. Though that almost goes without saying, as pretty much EVERY business makes worse investment decisions than Nintendo. Seriously, I've never seen any company as over-cautious as Nintendo. Even when they "lose", they still win. Dr. Doom would be jealous of their ability to turn anything to their advantage. And to Sony's credit, I've seen many that make far worse investment choices than they do.

How does Nintendo win even if they lose? I mean no disrespect to Nintendo but after the 64 gen and the GC gen if they weren't on top this gen I think NIntendo might have ended up like Sega.

What? Nintendo always made a profit from the N64 and GCN so why would they go the way of Sega and go software exclusive? Their consoles always made them bucketloads of cash.

Ok so this is the first gen where Sony isn't turning profit. However Nintendo is where they are (and let's be real about this) mostly because of price which isn't neccessarily a bad thing - it is what it is. However Sony is the only company to date that has ever dominated the market like it did multiple times - remember the OP is talking about things Nintendo doesn't do. They have never dominated console generation(s) like Sony. To be fair to Nintendo though they DID do something that NOBODY has or IMO will ever do (not even Sony with the PSP) , Nintendo has the handheld market in their back pocket easily so in a way I guess you are very right, plus like you said Nintendo aint losin money and as a hardcore Sony fan I will be the first to admit it that Sony has screwed itself this gen while Nintendo is destroying everyone so much props to Nintendo. And truth be told, had Sony not come along I'd still be a hardcore Nintendo fan.

NES and SNES?  You know.... aside from Wii...

if you want soemthing Sony does that Nintendo doesn't... how about making TVs?
