Can Microsoft afford another price cut??? erm NO

I am confounded as to why everyone is making such a big deal about the 360's price cut. It has been on the market for three years and has received one $50 price drop in the US. Even the PS2 had more price drops at this point in its lifecycle. This is the 360's natural price progression.
