You can't compare Red Steel with Resident Evil 4 on the way you play them. If you cannot side step in RE 4 because it goes with the idea of fear and survival.

And to control the screen with the analog is perfect with the kind of game like RE 4, imagine if you have an invisible box like in Red steel and you want to shoot a guy just at one feet of you and you want to shot him in the face and suddenly the screen move because the reticle is too high, you lose all capacity of placing shot after shot at the right place and that it's really important if you want to survive in this game, so yes, moving the camera with the analog while you have the possibility to shoot anything on the screen and fast is perfect for that kind of game.

For Red Steel, I have enjoyed the game, the shooting part of the gameplay is interesting, but it feel like it was rushed and I personnally think that it is in majority the glitches that killed the game in reviews. I also think that the invisible box is too big, they should have make it alot smaller or even take it out just like Metroid Prime 3. The Idea is there for Red Steel 2, they just have to perfect it or copy on Retro Studio's game.
