lol @ thekitchensink. I always liked the part where Frogfucius tells Mallow his dark secret. The Jinx part is pretty good, too.
@superchunk The gameplay can basically be summed up by saying the regular areas have isometric platforming with RPG elements and the battles are turn-based with action elements. In other words, it's a run-of-the-mill cliche RPG.
Even though, a majority of the developers who worked on SMRPG:LotSS now work for AlphaDream, there's only a few similarities between it and the handheld SMRPG's. I think the fact that it was produced by shiggy with top people from Square(90's Square) and Intelligent Systems collaborating, should tell you what to expect in terms of quality.
