| Kyros said: mainstream: "wow, this is fun!" Yeah because pretending to play a flute without a fitting input device is "fun". The problem is: It isn't. Because of this Guitar Hero gives you a guitar to play on. Flailing around to "simulate" drums without any force feedback isn't fun. Playing a violin without a bow isn't "fun" either. But we will see. I think a lot of Wii fans will have to eat crow this time. It may do a few copies on brandname alone but that should be about it for a train wreck of a entertainment software like this. |
Then what do you call Guitar Hero on the DS? It has already sold over a million, and has quite a ways to go... that thing is nothing like a guitar.
Besides, I'm curious what you mean when you think Wii Music will flop. Would you consider, say, 2-4 million lifetime a flop? I suppose I would (as it wouldn't have lived up to the Wii Series' name), and in that respect I can see where you're coming from. However, if you think it will sell less (to practically the same audience, and then some) than Carnival Games, I don't know what to tell you. Prepare to eat crow? I'm not prepared, I'm too confident in my prediction here
@Showertea
Outsell SSBM by christmas 09'? I really don't know about that... SSBB should easily be above 8 million by then. With the legs on these type of games, if it ends up selling SSBB that early I'd put it at 15m lifetime, minimum - I suppose it's possible, but that may be a bit optimistic. Either way, I'm excited to see how this game will sell.
